Hepsia's File Manager section enables you to administer your website files using simple point 'n' click movements. Right-click contextual menus offer quick access to different file management options, whereas handy drag & drop functionality will enable you to upload new files from your desktop computer in an instant. You will also find integrated file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to archive and unzip files effortlessly too.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your desktop computer. The built-in drag-and-drop functionality will allow you to easily move files between your computer and the web server. Just select the file that you wish to upload from your computer and then drag it to your browser window. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your hard disk drive. Moreover, you can download files and even folders to your desktop PC by pressing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager, you can create a new file or folder with just one click. All action buttons are handily positioned above the file/folder list and you can update your files easily. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, view the contents of a file or change its permissions, delete a file, and so on.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager user interface, you will be able to pack and unarchive all types of files. It works remarkably fast - just select the files you wish to make a zipped archive of and press the Compress button. You can even select the compression format (.rar, .zip, etc.). It is just as easy to extract an archive to a specified directory.
File Editors
With the File Manager interface, you really do not need any external tools in order to update your files. There is an image viewer, which allows you to preview the contents of your image files to get a clue about how the images will in fact appear on the World Wide Web. Furthermore, you will find an array of in-built file editors, which will give you full authority over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are designed for more advanced individuals, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can see all source code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced individuals.
